Whether you’re looking for yearling calves/bulls or heifers, we have about 50 of each annually. After weaning in October, we put them on a growing ration in a feedlot and sell them in the spring of each year. The bulls are DNA tested so their data is actual not projected, they are also Semen Tested and measured in March of each spring so they are ready to go to work. Our heifers are always ready to breed by June.
We always have a few long yearlings or two year olds in the spring as well as bred heifers in the fall and first calf heifer pairs in the spring. We also have aged cows or pairs.
We’ll work with you to find the right cattle for your program and do our best to make the deal fit your budget.
Our Bulls are pre priced based on a formula (click here and have a look), that rates them on all of the most important factors and traits, and we will negotiate prices with you based on how many you want and whether you’re a new or repeat customer.
Each year we take a hard look at every bull calf and cull them so nothing is left that we wouldn’t use ourselves. Therefore, we don’t have any cheap bulls, we raise and sell superior range bulls we are very proud of.
When you buy a bull from Bear Creek Ranch, you’ll get all of the test data for the ultra sounding on carcass traits, pelvic measurements, Scrotum measurements and semen tests with actual Vet work sheets. You’ll also get the gain tests and the actual weaning wts, yearling wts and ADG as weanlings and on feed to yearlings. When you buy a Heifer you’ll also get everything listed above, except the semen test.
When you buy cattle with the BCR brand on them you’ll know exactly what your buying inside and out. And you’ll also be getting a breeding guarantee on the bulls, click here to read it.
We stand behind our cattle and take care of our valued and important customers.
Call me anytime to talk about our cattle.
First of all, almost every animal we have is for sale, by private Treaty.
